Nameplate. Label. Decal. Tag. Badge. Sticker. Medallion. What do all of these terms have in common? Any of them could be used when a product owner is looking to show off their brand identity. The term nameplate can be confusing.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, nameplate has a short definition which alludes to that thing outside of an office or placed on a desk with a person's name.
