This article is part of a series of articles from my co-workers on their favorite nameplates. Dave Olson, our guest blogger this week, chose an aluminum nameplate which was designed to stand up to being outside and in a variety of environments.
Picking a favorite nameplate is a tough challenge. They all have something different about each one. Either it's the process or the color that sets them apart from one to the other. If I had to pick one it would have to be this nameplate for coolers. It makes me think about when I had the realization that I needed to replace my cooler after 25+ years of use, the nameplate showing was one which I had worked on for laydown of colors and design. Black half tones combine with texture for dimension without the need for a custom tool outside of the embossed logo. These aspects of decoration play together nicely and really make
the cooler look "cool" and stand out. I'm proud to show off
this part when I get together with family and friends.
