Northern Engraving, Spring Grove Division has confirmed negotiating a new three year contract with the union employees and have revised their plans to close the facility at this time.
Work is scheduled to begin transferring back into Spring Grove by early August.
The amount of work to be transferred will be dependent upon a review of our overall capacity and planning requirements as we look to the future. Our business plan is to maintain at least an 80 percent load capacity in order to serve our customers in the most cost effective manner possible.
The Company is appreciative of the fact that the workforce in Spring Grove has been very flexible, cooperative, and willing to work with us to ensure some level of employment in the Spring Grove community during these difficult economic times.
