Estee Lauder's new Bronze Goddess "sunburst" design is beautiful.  The compact is eye catching and I love the colors.  The aluminum insert uses a combination of opaque and transparent process and spot colors to create the shimmering effect.  A subtle printed texture adds a delicate tactile touch.

This project presented a unique challenge in achieving the look.  The sunburst design is a series of concentric circles.  Any misregistration would be quite obvious causing wider spacing on one side than the other.  Steps were taken to minimize the printing challenge and still meet the design intent.  The result commands attention for the brand.  The metal is printed with a transparent gold tint of color which highlights the aluminum and brings the nameplate to life.
