Prototypes are helpful in making final decisions about the overall appearance of your project prior to production.  Flat samples can be printed to review finish options.  Prototype tooling can be built to create dimensional samples which allow you to evaluate the proposed final look of your project.

Aluminum In-mold Trim

Stainless steel or a stainless steel look are popular in large appliance trim.  The Whirlpool ice and water dispenser features aluminum decorated with a stainless steel look.  This series of concepts explores what the trim piece would look like in other aluminum finishes.  The production tools were used for the frame while the backsplash and tray were mocked up by hand.  Patinaed surfaces, large scale graphics and electric colors were some of the options illustrated.
