The Inspiration Picking up on the popularity of geometric shapes took us on an exploration of layering hexagon shapes. Hexagons stack nicely next to and on top of each other which made a natural focus for the positive and negative space to become the basis for trial and development.

The Inspiration Linear cuts are carved into this thick piece of metal leaving deep grooves. The lines stop short and may pick up elsewhere creating a random linear pattern. As the lines are carved, a tooling chatter is left in the valleys of the cuts adding to the organic look of the surface.
